The Acadians were forced off their land.

  • The British wanted to rule over the Acadian region, so they sent 2500 German and British settlers to Acadia. 
  • What is happening?
  • These are German and British  settlers.
  • In 1755, the British were afraid that the acadians would fight with the British. So the British burnt the Acadian's houses, so that way, the Acadian's would leave. 
  • Ha Ha Ha!
  • Get out of Acadia!
  • The British told the Acadians to get on the ships an leave their homes.
  • Get on the ship.
  • The ship was not very hygienic, the only food that people had was the food they packed, also many people died on the ships.
  • My brother died.
  • We don't have food.
  • I am hungry mom.
  • When the Acadians got to Boston, they got discriminated. Because British lived in Boston, and British did not like Acadians.
  • They don't belong here.
  • Why are there Acadians here?
  • That is so rude.
  • The people in Louisiana and Mi'kmaq welcomed the Acadians, because they had good relations with eachother.
