- Beowulf vs Grendel
- 50 years later...
- The final fight
- It was midnight. The thunder was strucking on the ground. Beowulf just got wounded after his fight with a troll. He was now the Prince of Geats King Hrothgar, a man who used to be healthy, young and valiant. No one should be able to beat him but a troll just did it. Beowulf was concerned, why does a monster like a miserable and weak troll beat him ? The billiant man always self-assured and self-confident, was now in doubt. He didn't understand, he was doubting of him-self and his skills.
- Time flew, defeats accumulated as Beowulf's grief increased. The valiant man was now in the past, a bitter man resulted instead. His weariness was physically noticeable and so much more, Beowulf was mentally exhausted. All of these years thinking about why from one day to the next, winning a fight had became impossible. His strength, his mental, his bravour... All of these disapeared. He was now a vulnerable man, like random people. The only thing he used to succeed in doing died.
- Beowulf's mother, one day, told him that "no matter what happened real heros never give up". Since a few weeks a dragon was threathening the village, everybody was looking for the man who will be able to fight the dragon. This fight will be the one in someone's life. Beowulf was perked up. Him, Prince of Geats King Hrothgar will make it. He had no choice, he had to make it, he felt that it was now or never. The fight got bloody and long. The dragon was strong, tall, clever and deceitful. Several times Beowulf had a brush with death. He got wounded, nearly loosing but he never gave up. He finally took advantage of the only weakness he noticed about the dragon and dealt the fatal blow to this fight of which he will be the winner.
