Nwoye Lived with his family in the Ibo land.
His father, Okonkwo, was worried that he was lazy, and enjoyed womens stories too much.
Nwoye was like a river. Troubled and pushed by the rocks and wind, longing to be free.
A young boy named Ikemefuna joined the Ibo's, as a sacrifice from the other tribe. He became Nwoye's close brother.
But one night his father and brother left home in the dark of the night and when they returned, his father was alone.
