Helen Keller born on June 27th 1980 in Alabama. She developed a sickness called scarlet's fever leaving her both deaf and blind at the age of a year and a half. She had a mentor named Anne Sullivan who tought her ASL and how to speak. Helen Keller was the first women to ever speak that was blind and deaf. She died at the age of 87 due to suffering from strokes.

She was the first deaf women to win a academy award for best actress for her debut fil performance in Children of a Lesser God. Dwight D. Eisenhower born in Texas on October 14th 1890 and died in March of 1969 was the 34th president of the united states. He signed a program called the public law 85-905. The law was to put captions on deaf programs.
Robert H. Weitbrecht was born on April 11th 1920 in California. He was born deaf and his mother taught him how to read lips. He attended school with other deaf people cause he got made fun when around other people. In high-school he became interested in astronomy and built his own telescope and won a prize. He also created a telescope to focus on the stars. Unfortunately he was hit by a car at the age of 63 and died.
