- Penelope was annoyed and felt sad that someone would treat another human that way, she stated a comment on Antinuos being struck by a bow from the heavens to learn his lesson.
- I have been waiting for my husband but I do not know if I can wait much longer.
- Penelope asks for the begger to come and speak with her, She still has no idea that it is her husband who is in a disguise.
- Many suiotrs come to these parts.
- They start having a conversation about who they are and what they have done in their lives.
- Penelope talks about her husband Odysseus, She is waiting for him to return since but she is not sure if she can wait much longer since she has no idea if he will return.
- Penelope tells the begger of all the suitors that have come, how they all want the same thing and that if Odysseus does not return soon she might marry.
- The begger who is Odysseus tells Penelope that he knows her husband, he tells her that he is near and wants to return with all his heart.
- Odysseus yes, I know him he told me he was on his way as fast as possible
