  • The French and Indian War was a conflict between France and Great Britain. It was a war to decide which nation would control the Ohio River Valley.
  • Benjiman Franklin proposed the Albany Plan, which was the propasal that that all 13 colonies join their militias.
  • The Treaty of 1763 ended the war of 1763.
  • The treaty gave Britain  all North American land controlled by France. France lost land and power.
  • Britain imposed the Proclamation of 1763 on the colonists which prohibited colonists from moving west of the Appalchians.
  • The war cost Britain a lot of money so they imposed taxes on the colonists. The colonists became angry.
