- The main character Leonardo, Mr.Charlie the headmaster,and the blind alcoholic old man Charlie that he had to take care of him.The setting is in The high school and New York.
- Leonardo and his friend witness students setting up a prank for Mr.Charlie the headmaster, he learns about them and that they both witnessed what happened and who made it.
- Mr.Charlie presses them to expose their friends but they refused to talk,he gave them the thanksgiving holiday to think about it. Leonardo’s friend told him that his father is going to solve the problem.
- Two days later Leonard calls his friend to ask him about what going to happen and his friend told him that he is going to change his school and told him not to call him again.
- When they went to school Leonardo was surprised that George joined them too, his friend enlisted the help from his wealthy father.
- George launches into a passionate speech defending Leonardo.At the end the disciplinary committee decided to excuse Charlie from punishment.
