Storyboard Text

  • This is Martin Luther. In 1517, He nailed his "95 theses" on the door of a church in Wittenberg, Germany. The "95 Theses" were all the thing he thought was wrong about the Catholic Church. This is how the Protestant Reformation all began.
  • These are my 95 theses. These are the things the Catholic Chuch needs to fix.
  • 95 Theses
  • Luther started his own Christian denominations following Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, Sola gratia, and Sola Christo. Sola Scriptura means tradition and pope has no place. Sola Fide means good deeds and mercy don't help you become righteous. Sola gratia means any good action is a result of God’s grace and we are incapable of freely doing good works. Sola Christo means Christ must be central to the scriptures.
  • Instead of fixing Catholism, I shall start my own Christian denominations of my beliefs; Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, Sola gratia, and Sola Chisto.
  • I have called this called this Council on behalf of the Protestant Reformation. The purpose of the Council of Trent is to clearly teach the teachings and address the corruption of the church. Also to improve  the training of the Priest.
  • Protestant denomination believes in Sola Scriptura (scripture alone) and Sola Fide (faith alone).  The Church states Sola Fide is wrong because we need faith and good works for salvation. Sola Scriptura is wrong because the Authority of the Church comes from scripture and tradition
