  • The army, at loss, escapes to Pennsylvania.
  • No! We musn't give up so easily. We may have lost many of these battles.
  • Another loss. There isn't much more we can do George.
  • Washington Sends Men to Gather boats
  • Bring enough boats for our men. We will be needing to cross the river.
  • River crossing
  • My men are taking too long to load these boats. We'll never cross in time.
  • The American soldiers escape to Pennsylvania after losing the previous battle.
  • The Americans attack
  • George Washington orders some of his men to gather enough boats to carry his so-called troops for crossing the river.
  • The Hessians surrender.
  • Stop! We the Hessians, surrender to your attack!
  • One Christmas night General Washington's soldiers crossed the Delaware River. Hoping to give the Hessians a surprise attack after feasting and celebrating the holidays.  Instead, they were falling behind on time as they were loading the boats.
  • Colonel Rall of the Hessians Dies 
  • Washington and his partners lead their soldiers to the Hessian quarters and started the attack at 8:00 am sharp. They did not want to hurt the Hessians, only make them surrender and take their battle supplies such as food, guns, and ammunition.
  • The leader of the Hessian army of mercenaries, did not want to surrender unless it was only to George Washington himself.
  • Colonel Rall dies telling Washington not to steal from his Hessian army.
