Well, you keep your place then, N*****. I could get you strung up on a tree so easy it ain't even funny.
Don't you go yellin'
I tell you I ain't used to livin' like this. I coulda made somethin' of myself.
This is when Curley's wife was being rude to Crooks, she was being rude because of the ways she was treated by everyone, and the feeling of being lonely.
This is when Lennie was feeling her hair, she was basically manipulating him because she knew whatever happened would turn out badly because Lennie was told to stay away from her because of the way she treated others. He was so fascinated by her that he couldn't stay away. Lennie ended up shaking her so hard that he broke her neck.
Curley's wife was telling crooks and Lennie how she could have been more than what she's made out to be, when they call her something like a "whore" and comments like that, it obviously hurts her so she reacts negatively to their comments. Shes trying to make them understand that she feels shes something bigger and stronger than that, and how lonely she is because she cant talk to anyone about it because of the things they say or will say.
