  • lysosome
  • Hi I am macrophage. When the pathogens enter our body, I surround and attract them. and then I create lysosome. The pathogens are destroyed with the help of enzyme from lysosome.
  • cappillaries
  • mast cell
  • Hi, I am mast cell. when skins or mucous membranes get damaged by an external object, pathogens enter our body. When the pathogens enter our body, I expand capillaries and release histamine and it increases the permeability of the blood vessel wall, causing white blood cells and plasma to move to the wound site. As a result, when the skin is injured, the wound becomes red, fever, and swelling. Bacteria are eventually removed by the phagocytosis of white blood cells collected in the wound

  • Hi, I am helper T cell. Alphabet T in my name was named after thymus gland where I was mature from. I activate both B cell and killer T cell to response to the pathogens that are entered in the human body
  • Hi, I am B cell. Alphabet B in my name was named after bone marrow, where I was created and mature from. I am activated by helper T cell. I produce both plasma cell and memory cell in the body. The plasma cell produce and secrete antibodies. These antibodies eventually bond with antigen and eliminates pathogens. The memory cell remember the properties of the antigen. So, the primary immune response takes about 5 to 7 days to produce antibodies, whereas the secondary immune response takes a short time to produce antibodies, produces a large amount of antibodies, and is maintained for a relatively long time.

  • Hi I am killer T cell. I am activated by helper T cell. I contact directly to the infected cells and make holes on it. Then with help of decomposing enzyme, I eventually destroy the infected cells
