Kublai Khan was born in 1215

Kublai Khan
Kublai Khan lived in what is called a yurt and he learned how to ride horses and shoot bow and arrows
Kublai Khan studied philosophies of ancient China such as Confucianism and Buddhism
He succeeded his older brother as Khagan in 1260, but had to defeat his younger brother in the Toluid Civil War lasting until 1264.
By 1271, Kublai Khan declared the start of the Yuan Dynasty of China, crowning himself as the first Yuan emperor.
Kublai Khan died in 1294
