Storyboard Text

  • In this scene, the witches makes some type of evil potion that is going to spell Macbeth in a way. "Show his eyes and grieve his heart. Come like shadows; so depart!" (4,1,47). The witches chant this and surmises Macbeth's future comes up through apparitions.
  • In this scene the family of Macduff learns that he has fled to England. "He has killed me, mother. Run away, I pray you!" (4,2,5). The murderer that Macbeth has hired killed the son wantonly.
  • In this scene, Macduff comforts Malcolm as he complains about his past and the person he is. Ross comes in and inform Macduff that his family has been murdered. "This tune goes manly.Come, go we to the king. Our power is ready;Our lack is nothing but our leave. Macbeth's ripe for shaking, and the powers above. Put on their instruments. Receive what cheer you may. The night is long that never finds the day." (4,3,11). They are now planning on going back thither and ending Macbeth's rule once and for all.
