Napoleon was born on August 15th, 1769 in Ajaccio, France. Napoleon's mother was the one person he always treated with respect. Napoleon never liked his dad after his dad betrayed Corsica.
Overthrowing Of The French Government
Napoleon's dad sent him to a military school. The school was far from home and he was a loner. He was very focused in school and later joined the French army.
Napoleon Crowned Emperor
Napoleon and his troops invaded and disrupted Great Britain's trade with Egypt, this causes the battle of the pyramids which he wins. After winning he marched into Cairo and loses the battle of the Nile and gets stranded. He then leaves his men and heads home.
Once Napoleon returns home he overthrows the government and establishes a three man consul. He declares himself as the first consul and gives the allusion of a republic when in reality he gets absolute power.
Once Napoleon overthrew the government he got absolute power and crowned himself Emperor. Once he was Emperor he made reformations and expanded his empire.
While Napoleon was Emperor he made many reforms. He established peace with the church which stopped a lot of problems because most of the citizens were catholic. He also made a single legal system and made divorce easier and protected property rights. He also made nationally controlled schools and offered more scholarships
