"The Phantom's Tolbooth" is a story by Nanus but the original is by Norton Juster
One day a boy named Milo was bored and jut then he found a package at his door. It was a tolbooth so he decided to pick a random location on a map and go there.
Since Milo wasn't thinking he ended up in the doldrums and met a lot of people who don't think or do anything but he met a dog named tock that taught him the way to escape. So he started thinking hard and he was on his way to dictionopolis.
Milo and tock got to dictionopolis and he had dinner but he got a quest to do by the king he said to get rhyme and reason in the land of ignorance and to get to them they have to pass through a bunch of demons but he would be accompanied by the humbug.
Milo, Humbug and Tock had to go and speak to the Mathmagician. Milo tricked him so that he could go on the quest. Once he arrived at the Land of Ignorance, they had to run away from a bunch of demons. Once he arrived at Rhyme and Reason's Palace there were no doors, so he had to create one with his magical pencil.
Once Milo, Humbug and Tock arrived back at Digitopolis, Milo was considered a hero, because he brought back the two princesses that settled all the arguments between the two kings. Milo then decided to leave, so he said his goodbye's and left through the toll booth.
