~OIL INDUSTRY IN WW1~ During, the 1914 and 1918 new transportation was introduced. So people had a need for gas/petroleum.
At first people could only go up to 5 mph, and their goal was to to go across America with these vehicles.
Later, they created monstrous mechanisms to take down the opponents, like airplanes, tanks, trucks, etc. this truly evolved the way people fought, but it also inflicted tremendous amounts of damage. causing pain and death everywhere. Everyone in WW1 thought it was neccessary to have their hands on these weapons.

Between the battles of the Axis and Allied powers, they tried to best each other in combat using the new technologies they possessed. By finding more oil, and manifesting more speed, it helped them enhance their upcoming assaults.
~The Prohibition Movement~ This movement began in Texas, in 1866, The Prohibition Movement was a national event where alcohol manufacturing, sale, productiuon and transportation was banned.
This movement was undertaken to reduce crime and corruption, solve social problem. In 1919 the congress passed the 18th amendment, which banned alcohol from U.S.
Afterwards it was ratified, and no was no longer a law until In 1933, widespread public disillusionment led Congress to approve the 21st Amendment, which reopened Prohibition.
