  • This organization was founded in 1929, it is a widely respected Hispanic civil rights organization in the U.S. LULAC means The League of United Latin American Citizens. 
  • LULAC has fought for full access to the political process and equal educational opportunity for all Hispanics.
  • LULAC has streamed on the radio, breaking the english only barrier, also gone on T.V. they have assisted so many people and fought their way to freedom for all hispanics in the U.S.
  • Mexicans were not allowed to learn english, therefore they couldn't vote or pay voting taxes, furthermore their bosses payed their taxes but told them who to vote for. Children were never educated, or went to segregated schools, but were given very downgraded buildings, education etc.
