  • During this time crime shot up and the law enforcement could not keep up with it. The birth of speakeasies made the ban of alcohol easier to deal with in the eyes of the public.
  • Music 
  • The jazz age is when women started to let go of the more conservative dressing and grabbed hold to short dresses and hairstyles. Women who took on this new style of dressing were commonly known as flappers.

  • During this time mobs became more relevant than they were before. Crime was very evident because of the ban on alcohol. More people were going to mobs for loans and when they did not pay the loans back on time they were ¨dealt with¨ by the mobs hitmen. 
  • Lifestyle 
  • The music of this time was a reflection of the first world war ending. The music was very upbeat and happy. This was the start of many different dance crazes.
  • This man was married to a mentally insane woman and he had a child with her despite how unstable their relationship was. He was an author and he infact wrote the famous book ¨The Great Gatsby¨.
  • The lifestyle back then was very opulent because for some reason money was very easy to come by. Everyone was happy and living their best lives due to the upswing of moods and financial situations.
