Storyboard Text

  • Haemon, Creon's son, comes to talk to his father.
  • Have you heard about your wife's sentence? Are you angry at me, or are you loyal to me?
  • I am loyal to you, I will stand beside your decisions.
  • You are a great son for being loyal to me. Regardless, everyone should follow the rules of the state.
  • However father, the city disagrees with you. Antigone was only trying to bury her own brother, after all. I think that you need to change your mind.
  • You are making a mistake and being unjust. I think you need to know that.
  • I will not take advice from someone so young, especially when you are siding with a woman and not agreeing with the state. You are a disgrace!
  • What are you going to do?
  • Haemon has left and Creon tells the Chorus Leader his plans.
  • I am going to leave her in a cavern to die. I will not kill Ismene, she is innocent.
