  • Checkmate!
  • Checkmate!
  • Did you know that chess was actually invented by the Indians  and spread    throughout the land with the help of the Arabian Peninsula?
  • Yes, I KNOW that the game was by Indians, I'm Indian myself, then was spread by the Arabs.
  • I call plagiarism.
  • Chess itself became the game we know today. As Snehal said, it started in India and began developing in the Arabian Peninsula.
  • Haha! I won! I will now spread this amazing game to all my friends!
  • The game was known as one of intellect and skill in which the goal was to checkmate the other player, by leaving their king out of opportunities to move. It was spread by the Indians who created the game via travel throughout several trade routes and cities and soon became an extremely popular game.
  • And that's Checkmate!
  • The impact chess caused made it into a commonly played game, and those who could play it well were considered intellectual. Fitting, considering that most people who play the game are quite smart.
  • They didn't know it at the time, but the game would soon adapt, alter, spread world-wide, and become the game we play even to this day; chess.
  • It's so cold; I'm freezing!
  • The End!
