What the heck are those? This all seems too complicated.
I’ve never heard about that, all my savings are hidden around my house. Oh, did I say that out loud??
In that case, you REALLY need some help. There’s a couple more options for you that are pretty basic... there’s a Roth IRA and a 403b.
well, we really aren’t all that eligible for a 403(B), because we work here in this office. I personally have a few roth IRAs set up, and add my retirement savings to those. Better start saving now and do some research on these before you decide.
Wow Leeroy, these really do make a lot more sense than stuffing cash under my mattress. I will definitely have to look into those! Which one do you prefer?
They really are pretty simple! A 403b is pretty similar to a 401(k)! However, the main difference is that a 403b is for government employees. A Roth IRA is generally tax free and its after tax income. There is a $6000 limit but there are no penalties for withdrawals and no heavy taxes.
That’s okay, when you’re retired you’ll have plenty of time for reading, especially prescription bottles!
