Larry; I was born in San Nicolas, Pangasinan, but as a youngster, I left and immigrated to America. when I was only 15 years old and knew nothing. I used to be a sixth grade student who enjoyed going to school, but I moved to America. I used to fantasize about becoming a lawyer in my new nation, but that ambition never came true.
1929 United States

Larry; I felt so young while I was leaving America because of how people looked at me and spoke to me. I desired to be able to assist others, but poverty and racism prohibited me from pursuing my goals. But I didn't give up. So I room across the world looking for jobs harvesting food on farms or working in canneries.
1930 - 1948 Alaska to California
Larry; I co-founded the Cannery Workers Union after going on strike with lettuce pickers. I was assisting the onion at the time, Years passed, and after serving in World War II, I moved to stockton, where I helped direct the asparagus strike. In stockton, I was created as a Filipino farm labor union. Then I met Cesar Charez, who was involved in the labor movement.

Larry; Successfully organized a strike named Coachella Valley to raise the pay of grape pickers. After meeting him, I immediately contacted chavez to inquire whether the mexican american members of the national farm workers association would join the action if they were available.

In 1970 California
Larry; I was effective in ending the delano grape strike, which resulted in increased wages, medical insurance, and pesticide use restrictions for the workers. I also made sure that a portion of the proceeds from each grape box collected went to paolo agbayani village, a retirement residence for Filipino american workers.
1971 - 1972 California
Larry; I withdrew from the UDW because I didn't agree with the way the organization was run. I became president of the Filipino american political association and attended the democratic national convention as a delegate.
