After stabbing the Cyclops in the eye, Odysseus helped his crew escape before he did.
"I tied them silently together, twining cords of willow from the ogres bed; then slung a man under each middle one to ride there safely, shielded left and right.
Odysseus made his crew cover their ears with wax and tie him up so only he would listen to the Siren's song, he trusted Circe and risked himself in order to protect his crew.
"Sirens weaving a haunting song over the sea we are to shun, she said, and their green shore all sweet with clover; yet she urged that I alone should listen to their song,"
After coming back home, Odysseus has reunited with his son and rid of the suitors that have been harassing his wife and ruining his home life while he's been gone.
He has now claimed back this spot as King and will continue to live off his life with his Penelope and son
