  •  In 500 B.C.E the Ionians fought back against the Persians with help of the Athenians. Once King Darius 1 found out he was angry at the fact that the Athens had helped the Ionians so he had declared war on Athens.    By: Ayleth

  • King Darius 1 had sent a huge army to start the land war, and ven after The Spartans refused to help the Athens, they were still able to defeat by using Greek Soldiers named Phalanx. By: Ayleth

  • The Battle of the of the Thermopylae included the Persian who had 200,000 warriors and the Spartans who had 300 warriors. The Persian murdered Leonidas and everyone of his men. By: Lizabeth

  • The Battle of the Salamis was with the Persian and the Athens, the Athens ended up hiding in their ships and they unexpectedly attacked the Persians until they retreated. By: Lizabeth

  • After all the wars ended both the Athens and the Sparta's took credit for the victory over Persia. After war Sparta was left very weak the defeat at Thermopylae. The Athens on the other hand rose to power and was considered one of the most powerful city-states after rebuliding. By: Ayleth
