Storyboard Text

  • If I can make it over to those mountains, I’m pretty sure I can try and get back home. But in order to reach them I need to figure out the distance.
  • The Arctic Sea
  • seems that my teleportation skills have failed me yet again.
  • If the tip of the iceberg is 45 degrees and the side length is 78 ft, then the distance would be 149 ft. (78/cos(45)) .
  • I made it! Now, let’s go back home.
  • I bet if I can climb up the cliff I can get to a safe spot to teleport, but I need to know what the angle of the cliff’s edge is.
  • A Forest
  • The height of the cliff is 38 ft and the width of the base is 50 ft. That would then make the angle of the cliff, 1.31 degrees (tanx=50/38).
  • I can’t believe it. This isn’t my home.
  • I made it over the cliff! Now I need to return home.
  • I think if I can get over that canyon I can return home safely, but I need to figure out the distance from me to the canyon.
  • Eqypt
  • I give up! How am I suppose to get home from here?
  • If the diagonal distance is 34 m and the angle of the canyon is 15 degrees then the distance is 9.37 m (34xsin(16)).
  • I MADE IT HOME SAFE! Thanks to my awesome trigonometry skills!
  • The End.
