After becoming a sedimentary rock, and after long years, the sedimentary rock will be pulled underground and will start to be compressed. That's what we call heat and pressure. As a rock will wait here for thousands of years and will get hot and the pressure of the inside on the earth pushing down on that rock they will be formed into a new rock. The rock will start to form new types of layers and they look wavy.
Goodbye, my dear friend, Millie the mouse! Have fun in heaven!
Thank you for teaching this to me! It's helped a lot! I'm really hot, I think I may be dying. See you again Murphy!
Dear Diary, I have been hot and pressure has been put on me for 10,001 years. I have waited here, seen rocks come and go. When will it be my turn? My dream is to take the stage somewhere and tell people about rocks. What are they made of? What is the journey? Oh, the dreams. One day maybe the Metaphoric Rock CIA will come and get me. I will see the stage, and the lights. One day. Love, Murphy.
1,002 years later...
