- I can't believe they removed me!
- They removed all the female employes? How can they do this?
- Here, take the ball!!
- Reena is very upset today as she lost her job and got an email confirming it. Here, her husband Sumit is trying to comfort her but all in vain. There is a lockdown in whole country due to corona virus and that is the reason why she has lost her job.
- Reena got to know from her colleague that the company is facing financial problems due to lockdown and has suspectidly removed 90% of the female staff.
- what will I do next? How will I find a new job?
- Reena and Sumit are sad and thinking of what to do next. They both are middle aged and are a middle class family. They both work to provide a decent livelihood to their kids. Sumit is a shopkeeper which is shut too due to lockdown.
- Seniors have done gender discrimination, this is so wrong! I have to find a new job to support my family.
- I understand and that's what all our female colleagues are facing at the moment...
- As many weeks pass, they start facing financial problems. With no flow of income they are planning to cut short their expenditure to a small amount only for necessities.
- After a few days, Sumit is relaxed as the shops are allowed to be opened now and so he will return back to his work whereas Reena is worried as she has no job and is not confident whether the companies will open soon or not.
- Reena is talking to her colleague on phone and tells him that she has to find a new job and is very angry on the decision made by the seniors which involved removing almost all the female employees. It is definitely gender discrimination and lack of support towards females.
