Today I am going to explain you the magic of nature, and how species survive to natural selection. There is this Ladybug that is an example of natural selection. This is the story of Alexa a beautiful and unique ladybug who learned to appreciate her genetic variation and her original source of a genetic mutation, changing her DNA sequence and benefitting her life.
Selection
Alexa´s parents had decided they wanted a big family, so Alexa had a lot of brothers and sisters that were different than her, making her feel like an outsider.
Adaptation
She was the only one in her family that had a red color of skin. All of the rest of ladybugs she knew had orange, purple, or pink skin. His shell blended incredible with the color of the roses of the garden she inhabited.
The End
The garden was also inhabited with a family of dragonflies, who were the predators of the story, making a challenge for the family of Alexa to survive everyday. However, the ladybugs were never able to see her due to her red skin that made her blend with the roses, doing as she did not exist. The dragonflies were able to fulfill their hunger, and wait until the next day.
NO! My family...

namedYears passes, and Alexa was able to survive from the ladybugs in the garden. A new family of ladybugs started leaving on the garden, but unfortunately the same story was happening to them, and the ladybugs were being eaten because they had a skin that made them stand out. She found another suvivor with red skin, she was so happy, and then fell in love with him, named Marcos.
