  • When I get stressed out by work, school, and deadlines, I get frustrated, anxious, and feel defeated
  • What stresses you out and how do you respond?
  •  A way to respond better to this could be keeping yourself organized with weekly schedules and to-do lists. and planning ahead of time. 
  • But how will that make a difference?
  • Doing these things allows you to receive an overview of how much you need to accomplish over a self-determined period of time!
  • I never would have thought of that wow! That sounds SO efficient!
  • When you are stressed about something that means you recognize the importance of whatever it is. Also, stress motivates you to work efficiently so that you can get things done and no longer be stressed!
  • However, interestingly enough Shaquira, there is an upside to stress as well! 
  • How?
  • Use what you know works for you to your advantage. Just like you told me you work best by spreading and scheduling things out, while setting deadlines for yourself! This allows you to make sure you take personal responsibility for  your choices and commitments!
  • Lastly, you have to be aware of what works for you and what you personally need to operate as a successful student and adult. 
  • So what should I do?
  • Thank you so much for your help! I feel less stressed already! Can't wait to start my weekly schedules and reverse  planning for big assignments!
