Storyboard Text

  • Colonizers from England arrive to America and ask to settle here.
  • We have come from a country called England and are looking to trade.
  • You can settle here.
  • They discover that they can fish, hunt, grow tobacco, and dig for gold.
  • We can hunt, fish, and look for gold on this new land.
  • Settlers are introduced to the Chief's favorite daughter, who is well respected by everyone
  • This is my favorite daughter, Pocahontas.
  • I want to marry Pocahontas.
  • Pocahontas marries a settler and is forcefully taken to England.
  • This is England, here you will be respected by everyone.
  • Pocahontas dies in England and the Indians no longer like the settlers.
  • Pocahontas has died in England. We no longer will do the settlers any favors.
  • In return, the settlers begin to burn down buildings, forcing the Indians to do what they ask.
  • If you don't help us, we will continue to burn things down.
  • Fine.
