  • Gentleman, we are here today to discuss how the country is to make money to pay off the debts
  • I suggest that we have a national bank, and the states help pay for the debts
  • This would be cheating bondholders! Also we already payed our debts!

  • Why should the South have to pay, we already payed for our side,
  • why should we help the federal government?
