Hey, did you know that chemical change occurs when molecules change to a new substance.
no i have never knew that. But what does that have to do with fire?
well, when paper burns, it is a chemical change because the molecules change to a new substance, ash.
WHOA, that’s pretty cool.
also, another example of a chemical change is when you start a fire, you put wood right
so wood turns into ashes to, you just don’t see it because the ashes are too small.
oh yeah i forgot to tell you about a physical change
what's a physical change
how does that happened
oh i get it now
for example, when you crumble up a piece of paper, it is still a piece of paper.
a physical change is when matter changes but it is still the same substance.
ok, so a chemical change occurs when molecules change to a new substance
ok, a physical change is when matter changes but is still the same substance.
you learned a lot today, i am proud of you
now tell me what you have learned
ok good job, now tell me what a physical change is.
