  • Wall Street Crash
  • Crisis! Too much inversion!
  • Black Thursday
  • F**k it we are selling everything!
  • 5 Billion in losses!
  • Uneven Distribution of Income
  • We have very little and they have all!
  • The New York Stock Exchange crashed, leading to banks closing, and basically all small and medium businesses having to close. This happened due to an economical bubble caused by excessive inversion.
  • Excessive use of Credit
  • I give you 1000 shares! Shares for everyone, credit!!
  • Black Thursday, October 24, 1929, occurred because panicked stock sellers traded nearly 13 million shared on the Stock Exchange and investors suffered $5 billion in losses.
  • Overproduction of Consumer Goods
  • There was very little increase in wages compared to the huge increase in productivity leading to profit. US richest top 5% had 33% of all income. Demand immensely declined.
  • Government Policies
  • I will do nothing to solve this problem!
  • Let the banks take over the economy
  • The great depression was caused by excess growth of credit during the 1920s. This excess caused by banks leads to instability in the money markets that initially caused a boom and then a crisis.
  •  Factories and farms were producing more goods than the people could afford to buy. This caused prices to fall and factories closed, creating disemployment in great amounts.
  • I can afford just one
  • Take all you want!
  • Intervention policies from presidents, as well as a lack of response from the two governments before the depression, led to a free abuse of the stock market, which government laws only made worse.
