Hi, my name is Nate, I live in mesopotamia
The people of mesopotamia moved to the Zagros foothills and then they did not have enough space to farm and so they moved to sumer
It got flooded a lot so the people made levees and built walls around thier city
The irigation canals got clogged with silt and had to be cleaed reguraly. Since they were all conected by the canals they had to work together for the common good
The cities got overpopulated and often faught over food.
These things helped the sumerieans learn what to do and what not to do and they did really good things.
