Storyboard Text

  • Hey, at least someone is trying...I wonder if other people will start to catch on
  •     One person started, and that started something great.
  • Wow, that looks kinda cool I wanna try
  • Yes, everyone proceeded to make windmills...and it was awesome!
  • "The Windy City Activity" was a success for the kids and myself.
  • I had realized in that moment that by motivating one camper, the other campers would look to her and engage in the activity as well.
  • The kids were using all kinds of materials to create unique windmills, and they consistently iterated. The competition was fierce, as many of the windmills were very effective. There was so much learning taking place, and as a result, "The Windy City Activity" was a huge hit.
  • I learned that believing in my vision, empowering the campers, and encouraging their hearts created a successful event. This, however, could be applied to any event. As a result, "The Windy City Activity" became my personal best leadership experience.
