The first shot is B-Roll of the school so that the audience gets an idea of what place the story takes at. I would add a voice over of the footage that would talk about why kids don't get 8's and what my documentary is going to showcase.
I would film myself or do a voice over with B-Roll as the footage and it would be me talking about me academically and how I want to improve myself academically as well and what things I already know that I need to work on and how will I fix these issues.
I would ask the student questions such as 'Are you happy with the grades you get, do you wish you could improve them?', 'Do you have an idea of why you get the grades you do?', 'Why don't you try to fix your problems in order to get better grades?' etc. Questions about themselves and grades. I would show different angles of the interview and possibly in film them in different areas.
From the information I had gathered from my interview, I would talk about the different things that they do well in their schedule and just academically well and then review what they could get rid of and what is needed to happen in order for them to get better grades. Then I can relate the info to what I do myself and see if I do the same things and if they do something that is good and see if I should also do that in order to improve as well. Then I would just repeat the 2 previous slides and then I would self reflect.
After interviewing the students I would figure out the main issues these students have and why they go through these problems to wrap up what most of the students have in common. I would talk about why these students lack that makes them go through these problems.
At the end, I would analyze all the things that I do that are bad and try to help see if the students I interviewed have the same issue as I do or if they don't see what they do to make them not have that issue so I can fix myself. I would then discuss what I will be doing in order to better improve myself academically.
