Once apon a time at Sunnyside Daycare, a little girl named Zoey was eating a ham sandwich and started choking. However, the babysitter was busy gossiping with another babysitter
Oh no! I'm choking!
Soon, Zoey fell to the floor and started to die. Then, the babysitter started to notice something was wrong.
Oh my!! Is she ok?!?!?!?!?
Oh no!! I think she's dead!
The babysitter rushed over to Zoey to see if she was okay, but it was too late, and Zoey died. And then the other babysitter called 911.
The ambulance rushed Zoey to the hospital, but even the doctor could not save her. Zoey was dead. Her father was furious, while her mother was distraught.
I'm so sorry, but she's dead.
I'M GONNA SUE THE DAYCARE FOR KILLING MY DAUGHTER
The parents of Zoey found a negligence lawyer and took the babysitter to court, where the trial judge carefully considered the case.
I didn't notice Zoey was choking until it was too late! I'm so sorry!!!
What have you got to say for yourself!!!!
After evaluating the case, the trial judge found that the babysitter owed Zoey a duty of care, and it was breached and that was the direct cause of Zoey's death. Therefore, she was causation in the death of Zoey. As a result of her negligence, her daycare's insurance company have to pay Zoey's family 1.6 million dollars in damages due to the emotional suffering of Zoey's and for the loss of a life.
I have found the babysitter negligent and must pay 1.6 million dollars to the family of the deceased.
