Storyboard Description

Long ago Thorin's grandfather, the king, rewarded smiths for mining gems and gold, making them rich. Even the poorest dwarves were rich. They enjoyed singing and creating beautiful items for the fun of it. The king had tons of marvelous goods stored up which attracted dragons. The leader of the dragons, Smaug and the other dragons swooped down upon Dale longing for the gold. The dragons destroyed woods sending the dwarves and warriors out the gate to escape, unfortunately Smaug killed them all. Smaug would come back each night eating any survivors. He had won. Thorin, his father and grandfather made it out alive but there was no Dale left. They had to start over by becoming blacksmiths. His father and grandfather made a map to get the treasures back in hopes someday Thorin would receive it. They never forgot their treasures.
