Storyboard Text
- In the opening part Ponyboy was walking home from the movies when a rival gang the Socs jumped him. Ponyboy being in the gang called the Greasers his gang had his back and came to rescue. The teenage boys in the Greasers are Johnny, Dallas,Darry, Two-bit Steve, Sodapop, and Ponyboy.
- In the conflict Johnny and Ponyboy get into a fight with Bob Sheldon and fellow gang member Randy cause they were scene with boys ex-girlfriend Cherry Valance and Marcia. In self defence Johnny pulled out a switch blade and not meaning to killed Bob.
- In the Rising action, Johnny and Pony run away to an abandoned church in Windrixvillve because of prior events that occurred with Bob. After a short time being there, the church is bursting into flames and there was a school picnic near so the boys rescued two children who were in danger. Johnny has rushed to the hospital after.
- The climax is the greasers (except for Johnny who was still in the hospital,) going to the rumble. The greasers win the rumble and the Socs drive away. None were seriously injured. Then Ponyboy and Dally get the idea to go see Johnny and inform him of the great news and victory.
- The falling action is Dally and Pony visiting Johnny. Unfortunately, Johnny does not live, and caused Dallas to run away and willingly get killed by the cops. This causes grief and great sorrow for Ponyboy as Johnny was his closest friend in the gang.
- The conclusion is where Ponyboy is debriefing everything that happened and realizes that he doesn't need to hide his pain and experience. So for his English report he writes '' The Outsiders". Which is intended to be the actual book.
