  • Natural Selection of Dinosaurs
  • Step 1: Overpopulation of offspring
  • Usually the parents have multiple children or litters in case some won't survive.
  • In case some of them die! ❤️
  • Step 2: Genetic Variation
  • Genetic variation gives the litter more chance of survival if the environment changes. Below, the trait of the offspring is their color. They have these so that they can hide from predators. The grey baby is most likely to survive in this environment because it blends in well with the rock ground and the side of the volcano.
  • Step 3: Selection
  • She's kinda cute tho. ❤️
  • These two organisms selected each other. In this case, the green dinosaur would be most fit for this environment because it can hide from predators easier in the grass.
  • He's kinda cute tho. ❤️
  • Step 4: Adaptation
  • Organisms will sometimes have to change when environmental Change takes place to survive. Here, the dinosaur has a long neck to reach the trees for food and has a tail to defend itself from predators. The lizard that evolved from this dinosaur has scales to defend itself from the heat, and has a tail that can regrow so that it can get away from new predators.
  • In conclusion, Natural Selection is survival of the fittest. If you can't adapt to your environment or protect and feed yourself, then you won't be able to survive in your environment. Thank you for reading this kinda depressing but cute Storyboard thing.
  • Conclusion
  • Thank you!
