- Quote: "So I don't see some boys coming. They just show up all of a sudden. Crowding in on me and John-John, blocking out the sun with their big selves. They're after John-John. They say his big mouth got one of them busted for shoplifting."
- Quote: "They say his big mouth got one of them busted for shoplifting. Next thing I know, they're whooping down on John-John." This quote describes when John-John starts getting beaten up by the bullies, and Maleeka was in great shock and didn't know what to do.
