- This is the project that will end the war
- In 1945 the red army invaded beljum and Hitler saw this and killed himself. Soon after that the Germans surrendered because they say their leader die.
- I guess this is retribution for bombing the US
- I guess we shouldn't have moved to Hiroshima
- The USA became a friend with the Soviet Union to take down Hitler. But even though they joined forces they still had widely different belifes politically . They both hated each other but they recognized a bigger threat to their war of life.
- The Manhattan Project was the project that made the atomic bomb. It was started in responce to the germans trying to develoupe atomic weapons. The group found out how to use nuclar power to build the first atom bomb.

- On August 6 the city of Hiroshima got bombed by the first atomic bomb made by the USA. The bomb that was dropped was called the Little Boy but it was far from little. the Little Boy weighed 9700 pounds and it was responsible for the death of 140,000 or more people.

- Three days after the bomb hit Hiroshima another bomb known as Fat Man fell on Nagasaki. It was dropped late so it missed the target and hit a mile away from the center of the city. It killed 50000 people and left 20000 injured.
- The Japanese surrendered on August 15th 1945. They claimed that it was because the US had weapons of mass destruction but they actually surrendered because Russia was re-entering the war but on the opposing side.
