On a very cold and stormy might, Romulus and Remus were born. Their mum, Rhea Silvia, stared at them with concern and a few minutes later she decided that she didnt want to keep her babies and wanted to put them in the River Tiber.
/Rhea tip- toed out of the building, with Romulus and Remus, as quietly as she could, she walked all the way to the River Tiber where she said her last goodbye to her babies. Her husband, Mars (the Roman God of War) never even knew she went out of the building.
The minute Rhea got back home, Mars was there waiting for her ready to kill her. She waas speechless, but Mars didnt care he immediately got a sword and sliced it through her body, he was absolutely furious with her, because he searched the whole house and there were no babies to be seen.
The River Tiber was a very long river and many animals went there to have some water, as Romulus and Remus were floating along the river a kind she- wolf spotted them, took them in and treated them like her own, she cared for them,she fed them, she washed them until...
One day when Romulus and Remus had just finished fishing, a man suddenly appeared from behind a tree. He was a sheperd and his name was Faustulus, he and his wife had always wanted children so when he saw them he was ecstatic. He asked them if they'd like to come live with them, they thought for a while and finally siad yes. They said a sad goodbye to their she- wolf mum and took off.
When they got old enough, Faustulus let them venture out to the city, but one day they went inside a castle and saw their dad, they immediately knew it was their dad because he was exactly lke them. As soon as Romulus saw him he hugged him, but Remus not so much, he tried to attack them but not knowing that his dad was the god of war, he tragically fell to his death as his dad single handedly slayghtered him. His dad didn't want to, but he knew he had to. Meanwhile, Romulus wasn't that sad he was infact quite happy, he never really liked his brother. Romulus and his dad got along smoothly and soon enough they found some hills and decided to call it after himself; Rome. They stayed there for years, until Mars died, Romulus was devastated, but he knew he still had a city to rule.
One rainy day, where Romulus and Remus had just finished fishing for their she- wolf mum, a man sudenly appeared, his name was Faustulus. He and his wife had always wanted children, so when he saw the two of them he was absolutely delighted. He asked them if they'd like to come with him and they said yes but first they wanted to say goodbye to their loving she- wolf mother, so they did that and went to live with Faustulus. Faustulus and his wife took really good care of them; they made them stronger mentally and physically.
