Storyboard Text

  • Plastic Problem
  • What a nice day, do you want to go swimming?
  • Plastic goes to landfills and its recycled a lot of the time.
  • Not all plastic is   recycled in fact 91 percent isn't and when it isn't it ends up in the ocean or on the ground where animals will eat it and die. When it is, " it is turned       into lower quality  items" as it says in "The Story of        Bottled Water."
  • Swimming? In there? Yuck! Have fun with the plastic waste.
  • That's horrible it makes me want to cry.
  • Great I will go to the store right after and get a metal water bottle and straw!
  • Julianne Forney
  • I know but their are ways to help it, as it states in  "What a Dump" " One of the best ways to tackle the problem is to reduce the amount of plastic you use."
  • Great I will show you how to use less plastic packaging and we can go pick some up off of the beaches here
  • Will you show me some other ways to use less plastic?
  • 6th Grade Science
  • Wow! They should say that on the packaging.
  • Ok!
  • Sure the text " Think About What You Drink" says " estimate 25 percent of bottled water is really just tap water in a bottle."
  • So, drink tap water and don't buy anything with plastic. Also, try and not use so many fossil fuels because the are nonrenewable resources.
