- Have you looked around LA lately? In almost every major street it will have at least 1 homeless camp set up.
- Many causes of homelessness is because of unemployment, poverty, low wages, Lack of affordable housing, addictions, and mental illness
- There are tens of thousands of homeless people who arent given adequate shelter and as a result they sleep outside in an unsanitary & dangerous enviroment
- Around 25% of homeless people have mental disorders and have little to no resources to depend on for help.
- Because of the pandemic we have seen the amount of homeless people grow. Many people lost their jobs causeing them to not havr enough money to eat or pay rent.
- As a result many got evicted, leaving them and their families in the streets
- Solution:If you have money to spare, consider donating to organizations that help the homeless and make your community a better place.
