Storyboard Text

  • She will make the perfect victim. She is very distracted and not aware of her surroundings. She will be easy to take without anybody noticing and she is between the 14 to 25 age range.
  • Human Trafficking is the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labor and sexual slavery.
  • I wonder what mom made for dinner tonight? Did I pick up her prescription yet?
  • Hey! Did you need some help? You seem lost.
  • No thank you. I'm fine.
  • This guy looks super suspicious. I better get home. He has been following me for a few blocks now. It's getting dark.
  • 80% of human trafficking victims are attacked from behind. 90% of those victims are knocked unconscious and are prevented from fighting back or calling for help.
  • California, New York, and Texas have the highest sex trafficking rates.
  • Only 1 in 100 victims who are captured actually escape. Up to 300,000 Americans under the age of 18 are caught and sold by human traffickers
  • Over 50% of human trafficking victims are sexually exploited. The National Human Trafficking hotline received over 6,000 reports of human trafficking in 2017
  • That was so close. I almost became a victim to human trafficking. There are over 24.9 million people who are in forced labor and are victims to human trafficking worldwide.
  • Mom, a man was trying to kidnap me and sell me into human trafficking but I escaped. Most victims suffer from extreme trauma after something like this happens. I'm so lucky that I was able to get away.
