Allowing sites access to your geolocation can give viewers an inside look to your personal life. Even if you may not be giving out a lot of info, someone could track your very location just by analyzing your habits.
Geolocation is also used for sites to give you the best inside look to what's going on around you. Ads, news, events, and nearby people are each used pieces of this feature.
