This comic takes you through Lewis Carrol's beloved poem "Jabberwocky" in the easily understood story of how the beast was killed.

Storyboard Text

  • I have to kill it. It is my duty to my country.
  • It was a peaceful day in the country. All were well until the beast came around. A boy decided he was going to attempt to kill it.
  • The boy told his father about his plans and the father sent him on his way.
  • Be careful! That beast is out there. It will kill you if you aren't careful!
  • I'll be careful. I promise. I'll be back before you even knew I was gone.
  • And so the boy was on his way.After a while he made is way to the forest where the beast lived. He heard a gurgling noise and he came face to face with the beast. It's fiery eyes burning him with their stare. Out of nowhere the enraged beast lunged at the boy with full force.
  • Who's there?!
  • The hero killed the beast with the vorpal sword saving his country from it's awful fate.
  • My son! You're safe. O JOYOUS DAY!
  • Father! I have killed the beast! We are to be afraid no more.
  • The boy returned home with the joyous news of the beast's death. That day was day of celebration for the country For the beast that had terrorized them for weeks was no more.
  • And so the kingdom returned to it's peaceful life and all was well no beasts terrorized the kingdom again and everything was as it was before. To this day the people of the country remember the hero and know that even a single person can make a large difference in the lives of others.
