All the suitors would kill Ulysses if he came back here
Ulysses had to disguise himself so that he wasn't caught by some of the suitors and killed. He was disguised as a beggar and met a man named Eumaeus who had told Ulysses everything that was happening.
I have met Ulysses once you know
Posiden sent a mist to the suitors who were waiting to kill Telemachus as he arrived from his journey. Then Athena dressed up as a swineherd and led Telemachus to Eumaeus and the beggar, Ulysses. Then Ulysses revealed himself and he mad a plan with his son Telemachus.
Hello son, we shall make a plan to strike tomorrow
Yes we shall, we should start on it tonight
You have very good stories for a beggar
The beggar, Ulysses, and Telemachus went up to the kingdom, Telemachus claimed that Ulysses was dead, the beggar broke a suitor's jaw, and Telemachus and the beggar talked to Penelope.
I can't believe that Ulysses is dead
It is impossible
Penelope claimed that since her husband was dead, the suitors would all try to shoot Ulysses bow and the suitor with the closest shot to the target would be the husband. No suitor could do it, and they complained that it was a trick, but then the beggar, Ulysses, came in and did it.
How did the beggar do it?
The suitors found out that the beggar was Ulysses and they all charged at him trying to kill him, but Ulysses killed all of them and saved his son Telemachus and his wife Penelope.
