  • During this event Washington showed good leadership because he sent 12,000 militiamen and dispatches to stop the farmers rebellion. From the website it stated, "When this fails, he calls up more than 12,000 militiamen and dispatches them to Pennsylvania whereupon the insurrection dissolves." (millercenter.com) From this it shows that once Washington sent the 12,000 militiamen and dispatches they were able to stop the insurrection of the farmers before it got worse.
  • Washington D.C becomes Capital
  • In this event Washington and the representatives of the United States and Great Britain signed Jay's Treaty, to settle outstanding issues between the two countries. According to History.state.gov it stated, "On November 19, 1794 representatives of the United states and Great Britain signed Jay's Treaty, which sought to settle outstanding issues between the two countries that had been left unresolved." By this they signed Jay's Treaty to settle unresolved since American independence.

  • John Adams showed good leadership during the Alien Act because he was able to deport any alien that deemed dangerous. From the site it stated, "Congress passes the Alien Act, granting President Adams the power to deport any alien he deemed potentially dangerous to the country's safety." This shows that anyone who seemed dangerous to the country he would be able to kick them out.
  • Adams shows good leadership during Washington D.C becomes capital because Washington D.C was in a geographical position. According to History.com it states, "The city of Washington was created to serve as the nation's capital because of geographical position in the center of existing new republic." From this it explains that Washington D.C became capital because of its geographical position.
